What are our core values? Our core values reflect who we are as a community of faith. It stands to reason that we want to convey this message to others as we extend to them five star service driven by our five core values:

Christ-Centered (Every ministry will be biblically-based, reflecting Christ in all things.)

Jesus is the center or hub of this ministry!
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus said to Peter that He was going to build the church on the revelation that Peter had concerning Christ, not that He was going to build the church on Peter the rock!
We have the promise from Christ Himself that the Church will stand because it does not belong to man, any individual, or group of people, but it's Jesus' church!
Even though the church has its difficult moments, it will weather the assaults, criticism, strife, division, etc., and the church will stand.

Excellence-Propelled (Quality will be demonstrated in our people, facilities and programs.)

A Ministry propelled by excellence is a ministry that is excellent in its facilities, operations, attitude, appearance, staff, etc.
Excellence - 1st class, refined, the attention to detail that gives birth to a superior performance that causes maximized potential and promotion in life. Do you have an excellent spirit?

We want to be the best at what we do. Calvary Community Church, is on a mission to attain excellence.

Our goal is to impregnate and you with the seed of excellence, causing you to give birth to a superior performance which results in maximized potential and promotion in life.

As God takes this ministry and us individually to the next level, we must develop an excellent attitude and spirit and understand that it does take all of that and more to get there.

We don't represent ourselves any longer; we represent the King of kings and Lord of lords.
We are not doing this unto us, but unto the Lord. (Proverbs 16:3)

Seeker-Friendly (We will attract others by our love.)

Seeker-Friendly

Every person that comes through the doors should feel the Love of God and the presence of God in this place. (John 13:34, 35)

Some people may not want to speak or get close to you (in church) where they might brush up against/touch you. That's not who we are or what we do!
Church is Home base - a place where a person can come and claim safety.

Service-Oriented (We will attract others through our personalized service and attention to details.)

Read Matthew 5: 41-42. Our goal in this ministry is to go the extra mile and make the extra difference. It is to minister to people right where they are and let them know that we are here to serve and minister to the needs in their lives. It is not our mission in life to condemn them.

We have to dismiss the attitude as leaders and members that we are the ones that should be constantly served.

Our mission is not just to sit here and have a good time, but to prepare the ground for other people who never heard about Jesus, that have never been saved, and have never had the opportunity to come in and feel like this is what they've been looking for.

Family-Focused (Our ministry will model, attract and equip families who will leave a legacy for generations to come.)

In Genesis 18: 17-19, the Lord is speaking about Abraham, the father of many nations.
God has deposited a place of blessing in the arena where there is a family - focused environment.
It does not matter if you are single, a single parent, part of a two parent family, or a blended family. Our goal here at Calvary is to be a part of God's family.
We want to equip and attract families that will leave a legacy for generations to come. Families that will make a statement saying, "This is what we do, this is who we are, and what we are all about." We are referring to those who want to be a part of God's family in order to make a difference in the world today.

What are we called by God to accomplish? We will foster an environment that offers every member the opportunity to utilize his or her gifts and talents to glorify God and edify the Body of Christ. (Eph. 4:7-16) We will present Calvary Community Church to visitors, members and vendors as the place where the people have a mind to work. (See logo & Neh. 4:6.)

The Bible - A biblical center represents the centrality of God's Word which emanates from every facet of our ministry. We are CHRIST-CENTERED!

Walls - The walls represent the walls of Jerusalem. The book of Nehemiah speaks about the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem. It represents the rebuilding of a person's mentality, attitude, and life, with the understanding that God desires to take His people to a new level in order to display His excellency. We are EXCELLENCE-PROPELLED!

Map - We have a global focus, thus, our motto is "Enlarging Our Coast for Christ." Although we seek to meet the needs of those in our community, city, state and nation, we also recognize that God has called us to impact the world. We are reaching out to families and ministries in Africa and other parts of the world (i.e., Ghana, South Africa, Jamaica, Albania, etc.). We are SEEKER-FRIENDLY!

Individual Standing with the Hammer -We, too, are ready to rebuild in order to do what God has called us to do in this ministry. This is our reasonable service as we seek to present ourselves and the work of our hands unto the Lord. We are SERVICE-ORIENTED!

Where the People Have a Mind to Work. - Every member of the Calvary Community Church family is extended an invitation to get involved in the work of the ministry. Nehemiah states that the people were able to accomplish what they were called to do because they had a mind to work. (Nehemiah 4:6) Our work will outlast us as future generations build upon the foundation that we laid. We are FAMILY-FOCUSED!
